Shipping Boxes

I had some down time last night.
So I decided to decorate some of my shipping boxes.
And drink wine.
And listen to Suspicious Minds by Elvis.
And cry.
And sing loudly.
And drink more wine.

Anyways, here's the boxes:

I made four of each.
I love these stripped ones, they're so shiny and look like candy.
I licked one to double check, but they aren't candy.

This picture didn't come out well. :(
These boxes are cute too. The yellow bottoms are very bright.
They're the color of the inside of a mango.

New Items Up!

Inspired by my recent trip to Toledo:

Ghost Shrimp Necklace $5
Also known as the Glass Shrimp, Ghost Shrimp are exceedingly handsome and suave. These attributes come in handy, as Ghost Shrimp are often forced to charm their way out of being eaten. If you would like a live Ghost Shrimp, most aquarium stores carry them for approximately .50 cents.

This Ghost Shrimp in particular is about 1.5 inches long, and hand inked by yours truly. This pendant will come with a jumpring so it can be easily attached to a necklace.

Enjoy!

Andy Warhol Banana

Umm.. you know that one album by the Velvet Underground? Yeah.. This is the banana from the cover.

I hand cut this pendant from plastic, and painted it with acrylics. This pendant is about 3.5 inches long, and comes with a jumpring.

U2 3D

I went to go see U2 3D last night.

"U2 3D is a concert film released in 2008, the first live-action movie to be shot, produced, and screened exclusively with digital 3-D technology.[1] The film is composed of footage from several shows from U2's Vertigo Tour in 2006."

It was really cool.
Bono... was a little creepy at some parts. Specifically when he reached out towards the camera and sang soulfully.

I'm a huge sucker for 3D movies.

SPACE!

So S.P.A.C.E. was this weekend, and I ended up having lots of fun. I spent a lot of time browsing, and ended up buying only a couple of things.
I was looking forward to seeing JustMadBooks

and bought these two comics,
which he kindly signed and drew a little picture in the front of.

I spent most of the show talking with the artists and looking through a few of the comic books. There was a lot there so I could read them all! Imagine my surprise when I was flipping through one of them and came across a comic preview by none other than COFFINBERRY!!!
(Also known as my beautiful and talented older sister Carey Bee)

Definitely check out her website, I'll do a more detailed post on her work later.
:)
