Something Secretive, Something Not.

Luckycoloryellow is in the deeply involved in a super secret project!
Hopefully it will be unveiled within the next month.

Two clues:
Field Guides,
And Acid.

Luckycoloryellow is also deeply involved in something not-so-secret, Craftin Outlaws! The best craft show I've ever been to. If you are in the Central Ohio area, I urge you to attend! I spent lots of time browsing last year, almost as much as I spent manning my booth!

Front Page Knock Out!

My Bird Silhouette pendant made it to the front page Knock Outs!

Once I saw a little bird
Come hop, hop, hop.
So I cried, "Little bird,
Will you stop, stop, stop?"

I saw going to the window
To say, "How do you do?"
But he shook his little tail,
And away he flew.

This Bird Silhouette is a version with the bird perched on a branch. There is also available a version where the bird has his legs nestled under him.

This is a hand inked and hand cut plastic pendant. It is water resistant but not waterproof. It is approximately 2 inches across and 1.5 inches from the tip of its head to the branch There is a small round hole through which a jumpring will be attached when purchased.

Lots of New Stuff!

I've got a lot of fabulous updates!

First, my good pal Bryan Moss gave a lecture to a youth arts group about comics not too long ago. And, look who's comic he used to demonstrate!

In other news, check out my shop for some new designs. I've got some really adorable pendants right now. My favorite being this one:

Click on the pictures for a link!

These two lovebirds are so adorable! What else can I say? This listing includes the lovebirds pendant, an 18 inch silver plated chain, AND a super special mini pendant.
The image and words are a sparkley silver paint on black polymer clay. The diameter of the lovebirds pendant is 1.25 inches, and it is a solid .25 an inch thick!
And the length of the mini pendant is slightly less than 1.25 long. I coat each necklace with two layers of lustrous gloss, so they're shiny and delicious looking. But I do advise against getting them wet. Enjoy!

Shipping Boxes

I had some down time last night.
So I decided to decorate some of my shipping boxes.
And drink wine.
And listen to Suspicious Minds by Elvis.
And cry.
And sing loudly.
And drink more wine.

Anyways, here's the boxes:

I made four of each.
I love these stripped ones, they're so shiny and look like candy.
I licked one to double check, but they aren't candy.

This picture didn't come out well. :(
These boxes are cute too. The yellow bottoms are very bright.
They're the color of the inside of a mango.

New Items Up!

Inspired by my recent trip to Toledo:

Ghost Shrimp Necklace $5
Also known as the Glass Shrimp, Ghost Shrimp are exceedingly handsome and suave. These attributes come in handy, as Ghost Shrimp are often forced to charm their way out of being eaten. If you would like a live Ghost Shrimp, most aquarium stores carry them for approximately .50 cents.

This Ghost Shrimp in particular is about 1.5 inches long, and hand inked by yours truly. This pendant will come with a jumpring so it can be easily attached to a necklace.

Enjoy!

Andy Warhol Banana

Umm.. you know that one album by the Velvet Underground? Yeah.. This is the banana from the cover.

I hand cut this pendant from plastic, and painted it with acrylics. This pendant is about 3.5 inches long, and comes with a jumpring.

U2 3D

I went to go see U2 3D last night.

"U2 3D is a concert film released in 2008, the first live-action movie to be shot, produced, and screened exclusively with digital 3-D technology.[1] The film is composed of footage from several shows from U2's Vertigo Tour in 2006."

It was really cool.
Bono... was a little creepy at some parts. Specifically when he reached out towards the camera and sang soulfully.

I'm a huge sucker for 3D movies.

SPACE!

So S.P.A.C.E. was this weekend, and I ended up having lots of fun. I spent a lot of time browsing, and ended up buying only a couple of things.
I was looking forward to seeing JustMadBooks

and bought these two comics,
which he kindly signed and drew a little picture in the front of.

I spent most of the show talking with the artists and looking through a few of the comic books. There was a lot there so I could read them all! Imagine my surprise when I was flipping through one of them and came across a comic preview by none other than COFFINBERRY!!!
(Also known as my beautiful and talented older sister Carey Bee)

Definitely check out her website, I'll do a more detailed post on her work later.

A couple of new items up!

I've been trying to get some new designs up in my shop, and here's what I've got up so far!

This tiny pendant is based off of the cover of Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division. The original image is of 100 successive pulses from the first pulsar discovered, PSR 1919+21.

This is a hand inked and hand cut plastic pendant. The ink is black while the plastic is clear. It is water resistant but not waterproof. It is approximately 1.25 inches tall and .75 inches across. There is a small star shaped hole to which a jumpring will be attached when purchased!

Buy two of these and make them into earrings. If you'd like these as earrings, or would like to buy multiples of this item send me a note in the Message to Seller upon purchase.

Chambered Nautilus

The Chambered Nautilus, a remarkable creature.

The subject of numerous poems, coveted during the victorian era as decoration, and the inspiration for the cheezy Russian Rock band Наутилус Помпилиус.

This pendant will come with a jumpring. This listing is for a black and clear version. I ink and cut the pendant by hand myself!
This necklace is about 2.5 inches from top to bottom, and 3 across.

GO BUY IT HERE.

Why is Valentine's Day my favorite holiday?

The card I made for my darling!

A yummy dinner for him: Chicken Parmesan! (and juice) :>

Dinner for her: SPAGHETTI!!! (and juice & wine)

I know we're not ultra fancy schmancy, but whatever.
It was lots of fun.

We even made each other's ice cream sundae's for dessert.
The one I made for him, fabulous overall aesthetic.

The one he made for me, a little sloppy. :P

Ok no more cutesy stuff. It making me sick.
